Dr. Linden is a US Board Certified Internist and a
Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
He completed his medical training in 1983 at the University of
Alberta and was Chief of Interns at the Royal Alexandra
Hospital in Edmonton. He then returned to the University of
Alberta and completed 3 years of Internal Medicine training,
being Chief Resident in Medicine at the Walter C Mackenzie
Health Sciences Center in Edmonton. He completed the
American Board of Internal Medicine Certification Exam. He
was a awarded a prestigious Heritage Research Scholarship.
He then completed his Royal College Fellowship at the
University of Calgary and then started practice in Calgary,
Alberta in 1988.
In Calgary, he was an Assistant Clinical Professor and in 1994
the President of the Medical Staff at the Calgary General
Hospital, (now a parking lot) at that time a 1000 bed urban
trauma center. He was on staff in the Diabetes Education
Center, the Southern Alberta Cardiac Rehabilitation Program,
and the Intensive Care Unit. He was a staff consultant at the
General and the Peter Lougheed Hospitals, and Preceptor for
Medical Residents and Students.
In 1996 he moved his family to warm and friendly Southern
Oregon. He joined the group of Southern Oregon Internal
Medicine and is proud to be affiliated with this fine group of
Internists. He is director of the Rogue Valley Physicians
Laboratory and Principle Investigator of Rogue Valley Clinical
Research. He presently limits his hospital visits to the Rogue
Valley Medical Center.
In 2006 he also became a Certified Clinical Densitometrist,
certified by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry.
He is now the director of the Osteoporosis Center.
