Routine Appointments - option 2
Urgent Appointments - option 3
Hours of Staffing.
The office staff works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We are there to
answer the phones from 8:30 - 5 daily and 4:00 on Friday. Appointments are
generally between 8 am and 5 pm. We book months in advance but keep a handful of
openings every day for urgent matters.
Routine Appointments should be scheduled by pressing option 2.
For other matters and urgent appointments you can reach the Medical Assistants
by pressing option 3.
At certain times the phones are overwhelmed - usually in the morning hours. Please
leave a message. We generally get back to you within 1 hr and always within 4.
Please don't keep calling back for the same matter until you hear back from us. It
takes time to review and respond, and the more messages that come in on the same
thing the more difficult it becomes to respond to your call.
If you have call blocking turned on, please turn it off so we can call you back. This is
especially important evenings and weekends. You should refer to your local phone
provider directory for instructions on how to do this.
For goodness sake, if you have an emergency, please call 911 or proceed to the
nearest Emergency Department.
Billing Questions.
Please call the business office at 282-2210.
Lab Results.
We usually send you a letter summarizing your results, unless we are sure you are
about to come in and see us within a few days. We will always call you with any
serious abnormalities and speak with you in person. If you don't hear from us within 2
weeks of a test, please call the Medical Assistants.

New Patients.
Please call the routine Appointment line to request a new patient starter packet. We
are accepting new patients, but as our practice and group are very busy, we reserve
the right to limit the number of new patients joining our practice from time to time.
Medicare
Due to current restrictive legislation and CMS bureaucracy, we have been forced by
the acts of Congress and the CMS to limit new medicare patients. Here is a link to a
political action page, where you can write your congressperson about this. Click on

In 2008, if congress fails to act, or fakes an action
like they did in 2006 and again in 2007, then
Medicare reimbursement will be cut by about 15%. If
that happens, our entire office will STOP taking new
Medicare patients. We urge you to contact your
congressional representative and Senator and urge
Congress to work toward a meaningful solution to
the problem of Medicare funding.
